If you have been undergoing infertility treatment and IVF isn’t working, it is probably worth revisiting some proven factors that have been known to increase the success rate. Lifestyle factors such as smoking, diet, alcohol consumption, and caffeine intake all have an impact on your ability to conceive, whilst various alternative therapies may also improve your success rate.
From a lifestyle point of view, my top ten tips for helping to improve your chances of getting pregnant are:
- Drink plenty of water
- Go for high fibre, whole foods
- Eat plenty of vegetables and fruit
- Eat good qualoity protein with every meal
- Always eat breakfast and don’t eat after 8pm
- Eat good amounts of essential oils
- Eat little and often (every three hours) as this will help keep your blood sugar levels balanced
- Eliminate or reduce your caffeine and sugar intake
- Reduce your intake of red meat, refined foots, saturated fat and processed foods
- Choose organic foods where possible
Whilst, this has been discussed in some detail in my previous post, you can obtain more detailed information in the IVF Success Program.
Other options you can do to improve your success rate is to explore some alternative therapies. These include:
- Acupressure
- Acupuncture
- Chinese Herbs
- Thai Massage
- Affirmations
- Quigong
- Yoga
- Meditation
- Reiki Therapy
- Homeopathy
There are also many more alternatives. Each therapy has its own unique benefits and are better for some medical conditions than others. It really depends on you and your partners own situation and medical condition. These therapies and more are discussed at length in the IVF Success Guide and may address your question on why IVF isn’t working.
